APC launches two new treatments on the market that are able to improve the performance of the cotton reinforcements and make them more interesting, especially for the sports and safety shoes industry, adding to the already wide range of technical reinforcements.

The fabric treated with this process has the ability to resist fire and retard its combustion.

WATER REPELLENT

The treatment makes the support resistant to water, preserving the breathability of the fabric, while making it waterproof.

Both of these treatments do not alter the aesthetics of the material nor is any special equipment needed for the production process. They can be applied to all cottons produced by APC, and can then undergo thermo-adhesive and adhesive processing according to the technical specifications of the customer.

The flameproof cotton fabric complies with the BS 5852 standard, and after being subjected to a BS 5651 bath.

The flameproof is considered to belong to the semi-permanent flameproof category.

The water-repellent cotton fabric complies with the following standards:
IDRO ISO 23232:200
OLEO ISO 14419:2010
ref. scale. 1-6, where 6 is maximum. APC values is 5
SPRAY TEST ISO 22958:2005
ref. scale 70-100%, where 100% is maximum. APC values is 90%
